Costume requirements for our 2016 school production, The Eternal Alchemist
We are very excited that it is a school production year at Clyde. This year our production is called “The Eternal Alchemist”. It has taken our play committee a long time to write the script and we are very excited to share this adventure with you.
Our story begins in magical lands where a King has stripped all of the towns of gold! His selfishness has turned everyone against him, even the Queen! Follow the adventure of the alchemist and his apprentice who are sent on a journey to find a way to make gold, will they succeed? What will they learn? Who might they meet along the way? You will be able to come see our amazing story unfold at the Frankston Arts Centre on Tuesday the 30th of August.
In the mean time we need your help! In preparation for this we are beginning to make our students costumes. We require students to bring in some clothing items to create these amazing costumes to make our night as incredible as possible.
Please note all clothing brought in for costumes will be painted, cut, sewn or decorated. Your child will wear their costume home on the night of the production, all items that you have provided to the school will be returned home, all items provided by the school will be kept by the school. Please label all clothing with your child’s name and year level and put them in a plastic bag.
Please send all your items in together, not separately. We would appreciate if you could bring your students clothing in ASAP however they are due by Friday 10th June.
Thank you for your support.

For some of the major speaking roles the school will be providing your child’s costume. We are hiring them from a reputable costume company in Melbourne who have even supplied costumes to some amazing productions in the city. It would be appreciated that your child arrives in their own clothes on the night so that we are able to keep the costumes on the night and return them the next day. If your child has slightly different costume requirements or their costume has been hired we will be in contact with you directly this week.
If you are unsure of the requirements of your child please pop in and ask your child’s teacher who will be able to advise you accordingly.
