Dear Parents/Guardians,

Hoop time basketball is a competition run each year for students with ranges of ability. We are entering a number of teams in to this years events (this is not a compulsory excursion) which will be held at Cranbourne Basketball Stadium. The dates are as follows: 


  • Years 3/4 is on Tuesday 9th August 2016
  • Years 5/6 is on Tuesday 23rd August 2016
Parents will be required to drop off and collect their children from Cranbourne Basketball Stadium. The drop off time is 08:30am, collection will be around 2:00pm (pending all games starting on time…!)
Students will need to wear their school uniform (shorts and shirt) however a playing top will be supplied for the day. Students will also need to bring a packed lunch and plenty of water. There may be canteen facilities available for a drink and snacks on the day.
The cost for this excursion is $9.00 to cover the registering of the teams.
We will be looking for parent helpers on the day to assist with scoring and supervision (approx 1 helper per team.) Training and team selection will be happening during sports sessions over the coming weeks.
We will be sending out signed permission forms closer to the date once the teams have been established. This will include details of how to make your payments.
