Year 6 Students
Congratulations Year 6 students. You are about to embark on the next phase of your education. The Clyde PS community wishes you the very best for your continued learning. Work hard and make the most of every opportunity that comes your way. Farewell!
What a wonderful sight it was at our Carols Night on Monday, 19th December. It was terrific to see so many families having picnics on the oval and watch the excitement on children’s faces as they performed their carols. A big thank you to Kerri Lightowler for the hay bales, to Carolyn and Bob for the sound system and supporting us during the night; to Maurie Richardson for lending us the stage and to the Clyde CFA for bringing Santa to visit.
I would like to take this opportunity of wishing the students, parents and staff of Clyde Primary School a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you for your contributions and for your support of our wonderful school.
Buildings and Facilities
Our new portable classrooms will be delivered and constructed over the holidays. There has been a minor delay in the commencement of this work. We are looking forward to some brand new learning spaces for the start of the year.
2017- A new year
On January 30th and 31st our teachers will be participating in professional learning at school. We will be setting our goals and expectations for the year, planning as a whole staff as well as in professional Learning Teams and preparing for another year of learning for our students. Students from Year 1 to 6 start school on Wednesday, 1st February and our Foundation students will begin on Thursday, 2nd February.
Thank you for reading our newsletter. Our next edition should be available at the beginning of Term 1 2017
