eSmart is a Cyber Safety initiative that we have implemented at Clyde Primary School. We aim to give our students the tools to become safe cyber citizens in today’s increasingly digital world by encouraging a safe, supportive and responsible use of ICT in school and at home. The eSmart intiative equips students with the skills and strategies to reduce the risk of cyber bullying occurring, while also promoting the importance of being safe on the internet. Each class undertakes regular CommoneSense Media sessions to help teach skills like making safe passwords, not publishing personal information, and also the importance of being responsible when using the internet. If you have any questions regarding the use of ICT in the school, or how you can help your child understand the importance of responsible use of devices when at home and at school, you can speak to Mr Pumpa or Miss Blake.
