Shhh, dont tell the teachers!!

WORLD TEACHERS DAY is a day to acknowledge the dedication and expertise of those responsible for educating our students. In Australia we celebrate on 25th October as the national day is during our semester break.

‘A teacher plants the seed of knowledge, sprinkles them with love, and patiently nurtures their growth to produce tomorrow’s dreams.’ Unknown

It’s a day to say thanks! At Clyde Primary School our teachers work tirelessly to provide the best learning opportunities they can for your children, whether it is the daily lessons delivered in classrooms or the special events planned to enrich their life experiences.

This year, your child can say thank you by completing a drawing, letter, poem or other creative item on an A4 piece of paper. Once all students work has been collected it will be assembled into a special book that will be presented to each teacher on World Teachers Day.

All work items must be completed in LANDSCAPE format with a 2cm margin on the left side of the page (this is to allow for binding). In the coming week students will receive a notice and piece of paper for their creative work. Please assist them to return their NAMED item to the office or one of our Education Support staff by Monday 21st of October.
