The school is made up of 5 portable buildings consisting of a 10-module Library/Art Room, Computer Lab and Meeting room, four 5-module classrooms, a permanent administration building as well as three classroom learning areas within the administration block. This building comprises of the original weatherboard school erected circa 1900, with converted Light Timber Construction (L.T.C) buildings attached. There is also a converted shelter shed used as a canteen, a large multipurpose room and storage area. The multipurpose room was relined and refurbished in 2009 with National School Pride program (NSP). The outside toilet block is a permanent brick building sited at the southern end of the portables and the ‘The Rose’ a small fibro building, sited between the toilets and the portables has been re-furbished into a sensory room. In 2011 a new building, incorporating a Library/Resource area and four classrooms was built under the Building Education Revolution (BER).


The 3-hectare school site has an oval, fitness track, and cricket nets on the western side of our school, with all buildings on the eastern side. The school has both a junior and senior school playground. The grounds are extensively landscaped with many mature trees. The gardens are maintained by the school community, school handyman and ancillary staff.


Clyde Primary is committed to the use of ICT throughout the school ensuring students have up to date technology at their disposal. Each classroom has an Interactive Whiteboard and there are numerous class sets of Notebook Laptops and IPads for the students to use. Clyde Primary School runs a very successful Laptop Program in the 5/6 Area where students are permitted to bring their own device or parents can take up a leasing option over the final 2 years of schooling. The school is also committed to investing additional funding into a technician to facilitate this program. ICT infrastructure is updated yearly as the school grows, allowing internet speed to work at its optimum.


Clyde Primary offers a School Canteen every Thursday for lunch. This service is outsourced to a local company and caters for many different dietary requirements. The School Canteen menu can be found here.
