The Community Partnerships team is set up so that we can engage our whole community in the learning of students at Clyde Primary School. This year, we have a strong focus on the families of the school and we are working with the both the events and communication teams to ensure we are engaging the families within our school as much as we can.

Engagement from parents in their child’s learning is so crucial and we want to foster as many opportunities for that to happen as we can.

Here is an excerpt from the Government’s Education website:

Parent engagement is associated with improvements across a range of indicators, including:

  • better education outcomes
  • enhanced engagement with school work
  • more regular school attendance
  • better behaviour
  • and increased social skills.

The Community Partnerships Team would like to that all families who filled out our online survey, which will help us with the direction of team in the coming months.
